Wix AI search optimization

Article explains what makes a Wix page source-friendly for AI summaries and how to build one. It covers answer-first copy, 40-60 word extractable sections, question-style H2s, Wix SEO panel settings, heading tags, custom JSON-LD via Velo, robots.txt access for OAI-SearchBot and others, and a repeatable prompt test to verify citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode.

This article compares plain visible FAQ sections, FAQPage schema alone, and both combined on Wix for visibility in AI-generated answers. Using an evidence-based table, it shows visible text drives LLM citations while schema adds parsing clarity, explains why Google FAQ rich results no longer appear, outlines compliance risks, and recommends when both layers are essential versus when plain FAQ suffices.
